Trailer Alert: Michael Bay's Live Action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Gets Teaser Trailer

Written by Steven Panzarella(@ProCreateSteve)

Michael Bay absolutely took a risk when he rebooted Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, he took a risk when he cast Megan Fox as April O’Neil and he took more risk when he decided to make the turtles in a half shell all CGI. So now we finally see what happened with these risks in the form of a teaser trailer. Directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of The Titans) and produced by the king of spectacle (not totally a compliment) Michael Bay, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is just a short look at what to expect from the king of slow motion explosions and the director that brought us Battle Los Angeles and Wrath of The Titans. It’s only a teaser trailer so it’s a little difficult to judge, some aspects of the teaser look fun but the CGI looks unfinished so we may just have to wait until closer to its August release. Check it out below and let me know what you think!

Along with Fox, the movie stars Will Arnett (Arrested Development), Abby Elliot (SNL, How I Met Your Mother), Whoopi Goldberg, and William Fichtner (Elysium, The Lone Ranger) will play The Shredder. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hits theaters August 8th

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 (1991) were awesome!

I'm not gonna lie I got a bit excited for this.. After hearing that Michael "Explosion" Bay got a hold of this I cringed. Now I'm more in the "Let's see what happens cus it might be good" crowd.

AMAZING pictures, AMAZING STORY (been folwoling them for a while) and MORE IMPORTANTLY: what a GREAT IDEA . I LOVE photography and you are right that photography is more than taking a picture; its capturing a memory. What a BLESSING you were to the Sikes family. I know you will be a GIFT to all those you photograph in the future! Best of Luck!! And May God Bless You, your ministry and The SIKES FAMILY!!!

Terrific! Krang was such a ridiculously weird kind of cacarhter, almost lovecraftian (it's a brain that talks and lives in the stomach of a giant robot it built for that purpose). Also, Krang has always been, and will always be, the perfect name for a bulldog.
