Rumor: Adam Driver In Final Negotiations to play Villain in Star Wars Episode 7

Star Wars Episode 7 has been marred in fantastic casting rumors, recently saying that Benedict Cumberbatch and Gary Oldman were in talks to join the cast. Well now according to THR, Girls star Adam Driver is set to join the J.J Abrams directed Star Wars sequel as the main villain. Driver has seen his star on the rise since around the series premier of Girls on HBO in 2012. Since then Driver appeared in Lincoln, Inside Llewyn Davis, and Francis Ha. Driver has a number of films lined up ahead of Star Wars including Silence which is about two jesuit priests that travel to japan to locate their mentor, starring alongside Liam Neeson, Ken Watanabe, and Andrew Garfield.
According to an unconfirmed report, most of the original cast is set to return that includes Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Daniels, and Ian McDiamid as well as Warwick Davis. J.J Abrams took over the script and announced it had been completed just a few weeks earlier, Star Wars Episode VII is scheduled right now to hit theaters December 18, 2015.
