David Fincher and Aaron Sorkin set to Reteam for Steve Jobs Biopic

According to THR, David Fincher is in early talks to take on the biopic of Steve Jobs. Based on the biography written by Walter Isaacson and the screenplay written by Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin. Sorkin and Fincher last worked together on the Oscar winning facebook biopic The Social Network, the film earned Sorkin his first oscar and earned Fincher his 2nd nomination for best director and also included 2 technical oscar wins. They will be working with Sony and Producer Scott Rudin on the film which is obviously is in the very early stages of pre-production. They have not yet announced who they are looking for to star as the apple billionaire and Ashton Kutcher took on the role in last years flop JOBS.

Sorkin is busy working on the 3rd and final season of HBO's The Newsroom which should air later on this summer. While Fincher had the 2nd season of House of Cards hit netflix earlier this month(Fincher is the Executive Producer), as well as his adaptation of the Gillian Flynn thriller Gone Girl that is set to hit theaters in October starring Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, and Neil Patrick Harris.
